Chelsea Dankert, LPC
Co-Chair
As the founder of Hearts and Homes and a Licensed Professional Counselor, Chelsea specializes in trauma recovery and family stabilization. She drives the Coalition’s clinical strategy, ensuring service members and their families have seamless access to trusted, professional mental healthcare.

Devon Sachey, MBA
Co-Chair
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran and PATH Certified Equine Specialist. With a background in County Veteran Services, Devon combines operational leadership with her work at Pine Pastures—an equine-assisted wellness center—to build a robust support network for the Wiregrass veteran community.

Jon Marsh
VFW Representative & Co-Founder
A retired U.S. Army veteran with 24 years of service, Jon channels his military and personal experiences into strengthening the veteran community. As a public speaker and author of Communicating Without the Chaos, he equips veterans and their families with practical communication tools to foster connection, purpose, and recovery.

Kevin Turley
AMVETS Representative & Public Safety Director
A U.S. Air Force Reserve veteran with nearly three decades of experience across fire, EMS, and law enforcement. Kevin currently serves as the Director of Public Safety for the Southeastern Mvskoke Nation and holds multiple executive leadership roles within Alabama AMVETS. As a certified Critical Incident Stress Debriefing specialist, he provides crucial mental health peer support and legislative advocacy for first responders and veterans throughout the region.

John Logsdon
BRAVE Representative & Faith-Based Counselor
A retired U.S. Navy veteran and current Brigade Safety Manager at Fort Rucker, John is deeply embedded in the local veteran community. Through his leadership of the BRAVE ministry and extensive volunteer chaplaincy, he provides direct, unwavering peer support and non-denominational counseling to Wiregrass veterans and their families.

Jason Smith
S.A.F.E.R. Together Chair & Peer Support Specialist
A retired U.S. Marine Corps Master Sergeant, Jason serves as the Director of Veterans & Military Programs at Florida Springs Wellness and Recovery Center. Drawing from his own long-term recovery journey, he champions suicide prevention and peer support, most notably by chairing S.A.F.E.R. Together and spearheading legislation to provide secure, voluntary firearms storage for the service community.
